烏瑪瓦卡/Humahuaca

[劇情預告]

曾在網上看過，距離香港最遠的地方，
不是南極、北極，而是一個叫烏瑪瓦卡的地方。
在這山旯旮的地方，確實有座山，
山旯旮到連Lonely Planet 也沒有提過的一座彩色山。
有些當地人叫它十四彩山，有些叫它二十彩山，
甚至是二十四彩山。
我肯定不是首個到訪這神祕之地的人，
但很可能是第一個只靠公車雙腿探祕的香港人。

去年，練武時偶感經絡不通，一看大夫，竟探出有機會患上頑疾。頓時晴天霹靂，我操。。。。。。。。。盤操得這麼辛苦，還有什麼意義？！把心一橫，跟師傅拜別，做我的背包俠完夢去也。先尋得再世華陀，確保身體無恙，便揮一揮衣袖，孤身去了南美「夢遊」。背著一把獨孤三劍（廣角鏡、標準鏡和遠攝鏡），邊拍邊走，一直走到世界盡頭。半年間遇到的種種江湖軼事，踫到的各路江湖英雄，希望可以在這裡跟大家分享 = )

So, what made me decide to become a traveler?

To make the long story short, the doctor told me they found abnormalities in my health check which might point to cancer. Just as what Steve Jobs has said, “Almost everything fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.”

It was at that point that I realized, when I recalled my memory for a particular year, the first thing that came up to my mind was where I have visited, instead of how much bonus I earned. And yes, I always wish to travel in South America. That was why I have been learning Spanish in the first place.

So, that’s it.
I was at the crossroad.
With one final push, I was on my way to the Dreamland.

A little bit about myself......

傳統上我應該先來個自我介紹，但其實小女子姓甚名誰並不重要。總之，我曾膽大包天，女扮男裝的在科舉中懵混騙了個探花回來；在太學畢業後擠身於跨國投資錢莊，在男性爲主導的Trading Floor當了個交易員（又稱操盤手）,武功勉強夠在江湖賣藝。雖然學不成周伯通的雙手互搏之術，但四隻眼八個顯示屏監看過百隻股價跳動; 還一邊夾着電話問價，一邊打鍵盤下過億元買賣盤（心裡還盤算著午飯的落腳點），對我來說卻是輕而易舉之等閒事。

Well, who I am is not important. All you need to know is that I was a trader, and now I am a traveler (or La Viajera in Spanish).

Yes.
Trader.
Those “greedy vampires”who are being accused of destroying the world economy.
Those exciting men you see on Bloomberg TV, yelling orders, screaming xyz@!$#, and throwing things to each other in a room full of flickering monitors.
Legendary examples? Nick Leeson in reality, or Gordon Gekko in the movie.
